Equipment

• Kitchen Scale
• Cannabis grinder or Food Processor
• Baking Tray
• Mason Jar
• Oven Thermometer optional
• Dishcloth
• Oven Gloves

Materials

• 1 oz Weed Flower

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 245 degrees Fahrenheit using the oven themometer for acuracy
  
• Gently break the Cannabis flower into even-sized buds. You want the pieces to be no larger than peanut size. Try your utmost to keep all the trichomes intact.
  
• Place the Weed flower in the Mason Jar then seal. Do not overfill the jar as this may result in unevenly decarbed Weed.
  
• Line the baking tray with a damp dishcloth and place the Mason Jar sideways on the cloth. The cloth will keep the jar steady.
• Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and decarb for 50min. Using the oven gloves, gently remove the jar from the oven and give it a subtle shake every 10 min.
  
• Once the Cannabis has toasted, take it out of the oven and allow it cool.
  
• Your Weed is now decarboxylated and ready to use.
• You can further grind the decarboxylated Weed or store it in an airtight Mason Jar for later use.

We always use an oven thermometer, particularly when regulating the temperature is so important.  It provides great peace of mind and improved results. 

Always store decarbed Weed in an airtight container, away from direct light.  If correctly stored, it will keep for 6 months.
